Spring is Coming

The tulips I planted last fall are beginning to peek their head up through the ground. I'm even planted some blueberry bushes this week. We are so close to enjoying spring. I can't believe its finally here.

Doing the Normal Things This Week

After going to Kansas City last week, I need to spend this week checking up on all the stuff I've let lag. Pages to write and edits to do, I have a laundry list of regular everyday chores to accomplish. Only exciting plans, I have this week is to enjoy a picnic with my husband at the park.

In the President's Office

I always enjoy the part of the library where they set up the oval office. From what I understand, Truman like to have his picture taken in front of the globe by the fireplace.

Last week, my husband and I visited Truman's library near Kansas City.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the small little town near the library.

Why do internet sites promote low calorie recipes, but when you get to the recipe, they don't list the number of calories?
