How I Write
Just finished reading this book by Janet E. She gives some great ideas on how to keep your writing fresh and sassy.
Unlike Janet, I don't share my office with a bird, I like it quiet so I can venture inside my story. The hard part for me is describing the setting. I see the people, can hear them talking, but I have to really stop and look around to get the places right. A skill I'm working hard to improve.
The main thing to remember is to not get bogged down in the mechanics. Just write the story the first time through. Once you finish the story, you can always go back and clean it up in the rewrites.
Happy writing,
Tina
