I'm always looking for writing tips and thought this site might be helpful to new writers.

She listed a number of tips.

1. Put the editor on hold.
2. Read your work out loud.
3. Use strong verbs.
4. Use structure.
5. Use strong verbs and nouns.
6. Be wary of adverbs and adjectives.
7. Use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
8. Work the details.
9. Cut, cut, cut
10. Use active voice
