“Damn.”
She didn’t want to open the door, not with Derek on the other side, not to more
heartache.
“What
do you want?”
“Jillian?”
“Yes?”
“Open
the door. I want to talk to you.” His stern military voice, the one she
remembered hating, demanded her compliance.
She
glared at the man through the peephole. How did he know she was here?
