Hi Everyone,
Let me tell you about a group I joined that is wonderful and the best part is its free.
Marketing for Romance Writers -
Their motto for the Marketing for Romance Writers is "seek, teach, share, learn, succeed." The group helps us focus on learning marketing and publicity. We seek ways to advance our careers, brainstorm new ventures and ideas, get feedback, and find others interested in working together. We provide free workshops. You can take a class or teach one.
I joined because I'm always looking for ways to help me to promote myself and my books. I have to say this is the best group out their. They have a number of avenues to help authors.
- post your covers on their pin interest page.
- sign up to display your release in their newletter.
- join in on one of their blogs -
- ask questions on their yahoo group and have other authors help you. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MarketingForRomanceWriters/?yguid=174127699
- promote your book on their facebook group. http://www.facebook.com/groups/mfrwauthors/
- look in their file section on yahoo and set up your own blog tour.
As a marketing group, they are continually doing things to help each other. I highly recommend you give this group a look.
If you would like to learn more about them visit their website at

and do the Retweet Day this Wednesday.

Fun Time at #MFRW Summer Camp
For those of you who didn't go to #MFRW Summer Camp, you can still find information that can be helpful.
Interacting with the instructors was great, but don't let the fact that the camp is over keep you from gaining a world of knowledge.
Not only can you still go out and read the lesson on Coffee Time Romance http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/board/showthread.php?t=29497
You can also get copies of the handout for each class.
http://marketingforromancewriters.org/camp.htm
I, personally, taught a class and I tried to look in at all the others. There was so much information to learn, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with information overload.
As, I've said many times before this is an awesome group. Not only do they help you learn new ways to market your book, they also offer a great deal of support with any question you might have.
Take a look at the handouts and see if there isn't something you can gain by having these notes and joining this group.
Have a great week,
Tina

Hi everyone,
I hope you are planning to attend MFRW summer camp. It is a great opportunity to learn all sorts of things.
I'm giving a class on rewriting which is called "Cut the Crap."
If you are like me you spend almost as much time rewriting your book as you do writing your book.
Here is an outline of what I talk about in my class.
