Celebrating Lifes Events

For weeks now I've been getting ready to celebrate a special event in my son's life.
Excited by the possiblitity of every one seeing our new house, I've been planting flowers, cleaning rooms, and worrying about every detail.

On Saturday, everyone arrived. We had an awesome time visiting and sharing news. Did the flowers in the front yard matter?

No, we would have had just as good a time whether they were there or not.

You could say this is a lesson learn. Don't sweat the small stuff. But I know me, I wanted the house to look the best it could.

So..... if I had to do it again. I'll probably repeat the same journey.

Some of us never learn.

Have an awesome week.

A Bunch of Rocks

Thought I would give you a picture of what I spent the weekend doing.

This pile of rocks laid under my deck. These beautiful rocks had to be moved, because I'm getting a new patio poured this week. These amazing items don't appear to weigh much but it can take hours to move them. Luckily, I had help.

Here's to how a small stone can make a big ripple. My muscles can atest to the fact because they're still sore.

Hope you have an awesome week.

Exciting News

I got my first review for "Baby Decision" from Fallen Angels Reviews.

The story is centered around an eighteen year old, who is unmarried and pregnant, with the tough decision of choosing between College or a baby. I'm thrilled the reviewer liked it.

Check out the link below and see what reviewer Rachel C. has to say.
