Blurb for My Best Friend's Ex
She loved him first, but her best friend married him. Now with their divorce, Brooke must choose between her best friend and the man of her dreams.

Brooke Janson has loved Garrett Sawyer since she met him on her first day of high school. Now, he’s free to love her too. Except, his ex-wife happens to be her best friend.

How can Brooke choose between a friend she’s known since kindergarten and the man of her dreams?

This is a complete short story with a HEA.

Here's a little snippet of the story-

Strolling down the grocery aisle, Brooke Janson spotted a familiar man dressed in black. Garrett Sawyer was the one person in the world, she didn’t expect to meet, see, or run into in a huge superstore.

Memories flooded through her mind, and she adjusted the spaghetti strap of her shirt.  Unable to pull her gaze from his lean, muscular frame encased in a black T-shirt and jeans, she silently wished she’d worn something sexier than an old pair of jeans and a tank top. She glanced down and remembered what she looked like in high school when they met.

As an overweight teen, she’d worked hard to get his attention, had even helped him pass a few classes.  They had become friends, and she’d decided he was everything she ever wanted in a man.

At the end of the school year, he’d left for college. After graduating, he’d returned. They had reconnected at a party where she introduced him to her best friend, Janet. They started dating and married not long after her first year of community college. Sadly, less than a year later, it ended in a divorce because she cheated on him with one of her classmates.

Suddenly unsure how to handle the situation, she choked out his name. To her ultimate horror, he turned.

His forehead wrinkled into a frown before he smiled and pushed his cart down the aisle. “Hello, Brooke.”

Sharing a Marketing Article - #OrganicGrowth #PMInc #Authors

Real Marketing for Organic Growth pt 1

I often hear “What is social site marketing?” and “How does it affect me?”, so I decided to write a series of articles on how it can impact you.
Social site marketing is generating word-of-mouth interest on social networks about you, your work, or cause. Social Site Marketingaffects you because, if people cannot find you, then you cannot grow.

How Real Marketing for Organic Growth works…

People often believe that it is the number of fans, friends, likes, follows that make an impact on their social networks. This is true but only partly. Social Reach is more than just the people who are following you but their friends and such. It is the Organic Reach you have through word-of-mouth (sharing, liking, retweets…) online.
When you go shopping and you go to buy a box of cereal and at the end of the isle you see bananas, that is marketing. When you share the batch of bananas you found at the end of the isle, you just participated in Organic Reach.
Because they were someone else’s bananas that you not only bought but also shared. To have Organic Growth, you have to have social site marketing, search engine optimization, quality content, email marketing or blogs, and people who care about what you talk about. To gain people that care about what you talk about, you have to care about what they say. You cannot just post about your product or brand, you have to take time and interact with the people following you. You want to wish them happy birthday, like or share their post, thank them for taking time to like what you said.
Just as a plant cannot grow without care YOU CANNOT GROW without caring what your fans/friends/followers’/twitter tribe/YouTubers etc care about.

A #TinaTidings Trip into Canada #Travel #ASMSG

Looking forward to the weekend?

Me too, though I should be well rested after a wonderful week in Canada.

You see, my husband and I went to Banff, Canada for our honeymoon, many years ago. At the time we said we wanted to go back in the summer, seeing as we were there in the winter. We had a great time skiing.

However, this time around we want to see more of the country. .

We arrive in Vancouver close to midnight and road the sky link train to downtown and walked to our hotel. I was amazed at the number of people we saw out walking their dog at that time of night.

The next day, we walked down and caught the boat over to Granville Island. Where we walked through a number of interesting stores and ate lunch on the dock. A number of amazing boats where floating close by.

We also went up to the Vancouver Tower, where we could look out at all the land and water circling the island. On the way back to our hotel, we even took in the Monet exhibit at the Vancouver art museum.

Over all, we had an awesome time. Next week, I'll tell you about the next stop on our trip....

Rocky Mountain train ride coming up.

So have you been to Vancouver? What was the best thing you did or saw?

Have a great weekend,

#MFRWauthor Sharing Stormy - A romance story for #BabyBoomers #ASMSG

There are a world of stories out there about young love but what happens when you are past your twenty, thirties, forties, has love passed you by?

I believe you can fall in love at any age. Yes, there are new challenges but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it.

Stormy is a short story about two people who want to give love another chance.

See book in Kindle Store

Blurb – Can friends become lovers? Even after the age of forty?

He’s wife is dead. She’s divorce with adult children.

For two years, Daniel and Karen have consoled each other during the trails of losing their spouses. Now, they are ready to turn their friendship into a loving relationship. After sharing a night of passion, all appears golden for a bright future for Karen and Daniel until she receives a call from her children saying her ex has had a heart attack.

Torn between, her need to support her children and her desire to be with Daniel, Karen leaves him and flees to the hospital. Coming face to face with  her ex-husband’s new, trophy wife, Karen begins to question exactly why her marriage fell apart. Was she to blame, and if so, should she try again?

On the outside looking in, Daniel must now convince Karen to let go of her past mistake and share a future with him?

The dim light shining up ahead drew her attention. She figured Daniel must have left the porch light on for her. Then why didn’t he return her calls?

Was it his way of keeping her from backing out?

Seeing his new F150 truck in the driveway, she pulled in beside it and gathered her things off the passenger seat. “Daniel Slater, you have some real explaining to do.”

She stashed her keys in her pocket and zipped her nylon jacket closed before she swung open the car door. Rain pelted her as she dashed for the front porch. Splashing through multiple puddles, she skidded to a halt by the oak door.

Breathless and feeling completely soaked to the skin, she jabbed at the doorbell. No sound met her ears except the relentless ting of the raindrops hitting the cabin’s tin roof. She pounded on the wooden partition with her fist. “Daniel, let me in.”

Recalling the key he’d given her, she dug into her pocket and pulled out her key ring. The porch light helped her identify the right one, and she inserted it into the lock. With a quick twist of her wrist, she opened the door and stepped onto the gleaming hardwood floor.

A light in the kitchen lit the large open area. The dining room and living room cast in shadows showed no occupants.

“Daniel,” she called out and dumped her things on the small table just inside the cabin. She peeled off her wet jacket and dropped it over a hook on the wall before she toed off her muddy sneakers and set them on the plastic mat by the door.

Still not hearing any reply, Karen turned for the stairs leading to the master bedroom, located in the loft above the living room. She noticed the soft glow on the ceiling from a light and decided he must be resting up there.

“Damn it, Daniel, if I find you with a young chickadee like I did my ex-husband,” she growled as she trudged up the staircase. “I might be tempted to...”

Her gaze immediately fell on the empty king-size bed. Exasperated by her inability to find him, she quickly scanned the entire room...desk area, open closet, bathroom... the door closed. Light glowed through the seam between the floor and the bottom edge. “Daniel, if you’re in the bathroom come out this minute.”

The entrance opened, and he stood in the doorway.

Problem, he wore only a towel.

Awe, shit... she didn’t need to see his bare chest covered in crisp dark hair, the sculptured muscles of his arms and shoulders, developed pecs, and thick thighs.

Damn, how was she supposed to resist such temptation?

This was a sweet story and an easy read. I am actually a fan of Daniel because he seems to be a truly amazing man. You need distraction? Something that you can drown in and yet won't need weeks to get through This book absolutely is it! The steam is well written and amazing, the love scenes ultimately cute. Nice read, really.

Sweet story about new love with a widow and divorcee. I loved the development and implementation of their love and how it effects their life. Just because they are adults their new relationship is interrupted by life.

A great read! I enjoyed that the characters were older and had some life experience. Many of us now have gone through divorces or know someone who has had a life changing event.

Karen and Daniel had worked together and been friends for awhile before they both began to wonder “what if”. Well, Daniel took care of that when Karen arrived at his house for a weekend visit!

Since they had been friends before they were comfortable and able to read each other well knowing when to slow things down or to finally let go of the past and take a big leap. Although Daniel did have a bit of trouble being patient at times which ultimately got him exactly what he wanted.

I will also post on Amazon, Twitter, and Facebook.

I enjoyed this book. It was short but sweet. I think a book before this one would of made a pretty good book. It had some hot sex scenes. One thing I didn't like is that I couldn't make a description in my head about the 2 main characters. I didn't know what they looked like, how old they were and what they did for a living. Overall pretty good book.

I loved this book! I got lost in it! Tina created the people in the book that have a lot of substance to them. I love the way she wrote about the issues Karen faced with ex husband & how she finally let it go. I loved how Karen helped Daniel get over losing his wife. I loved the way were together as friends first then lovers. I would recommend this book if want an excellent read!

Love to #Travel? So Do I - #TinaTidings #ASMSG

My family and I have visited a number of national parks through the years. Usually, we liked to do some hiking and just enjoy the scenery.

One of my favorite things to do is check out some of the local shops and visit restaurants that are unique to the area.

While visiting the Joshua Tree National Park a few weeks ago, I was looking at the map of parks.

We have visit a number of them, except for the ones in the eastern section of the U.S. I was wondering what is your favorite.

I enjoyed the Smoky's, went before the fire, but I'm looking for others national parks that people have enjoyed.

Love to here which one's you enjoyed,

Pregnancy Plan a #Romance on #KindleUnlimited - #read Today

Pregnancy Plan

Jillian Wilson wants a baby and is willing to do just about anything to have one. Until her almost ex-boyfriend shows up at her hotel room door. Then she has to convince him she's not fooling around with his brother.

Now, Derrick is only to happy to help with her problem.

Can Jillian love him and leave him even when he is hurt in a car crash and now believes they are married?

Derek entered the condo, exhausted from a day at the lake. He wanted a cold beer and a hot shower, in that order.
Good thing he’d strong-armed his brother into taking Kelly away for the weekend. He had the place to himself, and Jason and his fiancĂ©e could use the relief from the stress of planning their wedding.
Removing his sweaty shirt, he threw it over his shoulder, opened the refrigerator, and grabbed a Bud. With a quick twist of his wrist, he uncapped the bottle, and poured the cold liquid down his throat.
Now the shower.
He stepped around the bar separating the kitchen from the dining area. The light on the answering machine blinked. He hit the button.
“Uh, Jason, it’s Jillian.”
A picture of a shapely woman flashed through Derek’s mind.
“I don’t want you to worry. I’m not pregnant...”
“Holy shit!” Every big-brother, over-protective gene in his body kicked into gear.
The shattering sound of his beer bottle hitting the floor and his fist connecting with the wall doused the end of the message.
Could this be the reason Kelly was having second thoughts about marrying Jason?

An Image Can Tell A Story - #Authors #Marketing #MFRWauthor

The one thing that authors are hoping to do is draw people to their books. However the book cover along might not tell the whole story.

Or it might be a part of a series, where there is more than one book to enjoy.

Also, the author might want to include a brief blurb with the picture.

To be able to shake up your promotions, an author needs an easy to use image system.

The best free one that I've used is

It lets you upload pictures and create banners for facebook, twitter, etc.  The designer can use different colors and change things. The best part is it knows the sizes for the different social sites so there is no guess work.

But where do to find pictures?

My favorite site is
It is useful to create special event banners like this one.

Adding pictures to any post helps increase engagement.

I hope using these free tools will make it easier for you,

Tina Tidings - Can You Follow the #Recipe - #LowCarb Lemon Treat

Okay, you enjoy cooking. But do you follow the recipe exactly?

Strangely enough, I struggle with this. I believe I was thrown off course years ago while watching this beautiful lady.

Yes, she did it in her movie Sabrina where she looked into the refrigerator and came up with a meal.

So when I start to make a recipe, I look in the refrigerator to see if I have what I need and usually find that I don't.  Soooo, I do what Sabrina did and replace one item for another.

If you remember, I'm on a low carb diet and in need of a treat.

I found this recipe that was called Low Carb Lemon Cheesecake bars

Now the recipe called for

1   3oz box of sugar free lemon jello - ( I had this)
1   cup of boiling water  - (again a check mark was in my kitchen)
2   Tablespoons of Lemon Juice ( yes - we are good to go.)
2   8oz packages of low fat cream cheese  (Houston, we have it a problem.)

I didn't have low fat cream cheese and only had 1 package. Now, what's a cook to do and knowing my husband isn't the biggest fan of cream cheese.....well, I did what I always do and changed the recipe.

Okay, so I had one package of full fat cream cheese and wait for it.....sour cream.

So I mixed it up with using the directions and add a cup of sour cream instead of 1 of the packages of cream cheese.

They came out awesome.

So if you don't have 2 packages of cream cheese you might want to try 1 cup of sour cream in this recipe. (Good for those people who aren't fan of cream cheese.)

Thanks for tune into Tina's Tidings,

Tina's Tidings - #Diet - A Solution or Just Craziness? #weightloss #LowCarb

Inspiration - You can't realize your dreams unless you have one to begin with. - Thomas A. Edison

I have a number of dreams so my problem stems from which one do I focus on the most at this moment.

Diet is my favorite at the moment. My husband and I have put on a few pounds and decided we needed to work a little harder to get off those extra pounds.

Now, one of the best diets for my husband to lose weight is the Low Carb Diet.

Here is the official information on Low Carb diets according to Google.

A low-carb diet is a diet that restricts carbohydrates, such as those found in sugary foods, pasta and bread. It is high in protein, fat and healthy vegetables. There are many different types of low-carb diets, and studies show that they can cause weight loss and improve health.

Now that sounds easy enough.

Reality is a different case because it changes how you cook almost every recipe that you have.

Salads have become the new go to meal with different kinds of meat.

Bread, pasta, and desserts are non-existent.

Strangely there are substitutions and I have tried a number which I will share.

Bread - you have to make your own. I found one that I like a little (let's just say it's better than most.)

For pasta - I tried

over all it's not bad. Just make sure to follow the directions.

Dessert - I do a bite size meringue.

I got the recipe from

Then I changed it.  Where I use powered egg whites and different flavored sugar free jello - (mine are better if you wait a couple of days until you eat them, because then they are crunchy.)

Now, the big question have I lost any weight?

As every dieter will answer - not as much as I want.

So is dieting worth the effort?

Love to know your thoughts. Please leave a comment and let's get to know each other.
