Sharing a Marketing Article - #OrganicGrowth #PMInc #Authors

Real Marketing for Organic Growth pt 1

I often hear “What is social site marketing?” and “How does it affect me?”, so I decided to write a series of articles on how it can impact you.
Social site marketing is generating word-of-mouth interest on social networks about you, your work, or cause. Social Site Marketingaffects you because, if people cannot find you, then you cannot grow.

How Real Marketing for Organic Growth works…

People often believe that it is the number of fans, friends, likes, follows that make an impact on their social networks. This is true but only partly. Social Reach is more than just the people who are following you but their friends and such. It is the Organic Reach you have through word-of-mouth (sharing, liking, retweets…) online.
When you go shopping and you go to buy a box of cereal and at the end of the isle you see bananas, that is marketing. When you share the batch of bananas you found at the end of the isle, you just participated in Organic Reach.
Why?
Because they were someone else’s bananas that you not only bought but also shared. To have Organic Growth, you have to have social site marketing, search engine optimization, quality content, email marketing or blogs, and people who care about what you talk about. To gain people that care about what you talk about, you have to care about what they say. You cannot just post about your product or brand, you have to take time and interact with the people following you. You want to wish them happy birthday, like or share their post, thank them for taking time to like what you said.
Just as a plant cannot grow without care YOU CANNOT GROW without caring what your fans/friends/followers’/twitter tribe/YouTubers etc care about.
