Another one of my unanswerable Questions

I don't care which came first the chicken or the egg.

But I would like to know how to break an egg without getting egg white from dripping all over my counter.

And don't give me, do it over the bowl, because then I'm stuck fishing egg shells out of my batter.

A simple task that isn't that simple.

Try breaking the egg over a piece of waxed paper that is placed close to the bowl. Pieces of the shell are easily picked out of it and you can scrape the white into the bowl'
